‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nina Confronts Franco, Confesses He Has Feelings For Liz

‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that Nina [Michelle Stafford] will confront Franco [Roger Howarth] about his feelings for Liz [Rebecca Herbst]. At this point Franco and Liz have a surprising romantic connection but the maybe couple doesn’t feel it’s necessary to rush their friendship to the next level.

When Nina asks Franco about his feelings for Liz the artist in residence needs time to process the question and Franco will realize that he does indeed feel something more than friendship for Liz. It was very surprising to ‘GH’ viewers as well as Liz and Franco when they shared their first kiss on a whim.

Given the terrible things Franco did to Liz in the past, the writers realize that they cannot rush Franco and Liz from friendship into romance. This will be a slowly built relationship that may be complicated at times.

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, available on newsstands now, co-headwriter Jean admits that when TPTB decided to test the waters and pair Liz and Franco they realized it wasn’t going to be easy to ignore Franco’s past. “We didn’t pretend that their history had not occurred of that Franco’s history wasn’t what it was,” said Passanante.

Right now there has been a positive response from ‘General Hospital’ fans to the coupling of Liz and Franco. They’ve even been given their own couple nickname – Friz. If Franco and Liz do end up in a romantic relationship, what happens to Nina?
