‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Morgan Suicidal! Corinthos Family Must Cope With Bipolar Spiral And Suicide Threats

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal a long road ahead for Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] as his bipolar disorder will continue to worsen. It looks like the suicide attempt on the roof of GH is not the last we’ve seen of Morgan’s self-destructive spiral.

Even though it was clear that Morgan intended to jump from the heights of GH, he denied that it was a suicide attempt when Michael Quartermaine [Chad Duell] tried to reason with him. Now that Morgan has been sent to the Freedman Clinic, things will get worse.

Morgan feels like his family has turned on him and since Kiki Jerome [Hayley Erin] remains in a coma, he thinks there is no reason to go on living. Kiki coming out of the coma may be the key to saving Morgan’s life. Anyone that thought Morgan already hit rock bottom is wrong – he’s still falling.

How will the Corinthos family deal with Morgan’s spiral? Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] will continue to struggle with the impact of Sonny Corinthos’ [Maurice Benard] mob life on her kids but it looks like their marriage will stay intact – at least for now.

According to GH spoilers, Morgan has completely succumbed to his illness and sees no point in going on – he wants to die and get this misery over with for good. Sonny has been there himself and tries to share his own experience with Morgan, but he can’t get through to him.

The Corinthos clan has a lot going on right now. Sonny and Michael are both reeling from the news that Carlos Rivera [Jeffrey Vincent Parise] is alive and what that means for Sabrina Santiago [Teresa Castillo] and her baby, but must also deal with Morgan.

Is there anyone who can reach him? Obviously Dr Andre Maddox [Anthony Montgomery] will continue to work with his troubled patient, but will it take someone else outside the Corinthos circle to help Morgan see the light and that there is hope?

Could Jason Morgan [Billy Miller] step up to help his namesake heal? Or could it be Ava Jerome [Maura West] that’s the key? Even though Ava is furious at Morgan’s involvement in Kiki’s shooting, she may realize that Kiki and Morgan are linked.

Ava and Sonny will see eye to eye for a change as both of their kids are struggling for their lives. Neither Ava nor Sonny want to see Kiki or Morgan die and their struggles are an interesting story parallel. As Kiki continues in her coma, her struggle is more subtle.

Morgan’s battle for his life, in comparison, is very vocal and painful to watch. Yet both of these young people that love each other are at risk. And if Kiki dies, that would very likely send Morgan over the edge and both Ava and Sonny could lose their children.

What will it take to snap Morgan out of it? The answer may be Kiki. If she comes out of her coma and can visit Morgan at the sanitarium, she can talk him into getting control of his mental illness before it’s too late. But will she wake in time to save Morgan?
