‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Missing Nurses – Sabrina Santiago Finally Returns, Where Is Rosalie Martinez?

“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers reveal that the wait could be coming to an end for the return of one of Port Charles favorite nurses. According to ABC Soaps in Depth, Teresa Castillo, who plays Sabina Santiago, was scheduled to return to taping in the middle of April.

Castillo was on an extended maternity leave after giving birth to her son Sebastian in January.  The level headed character is connected to many key storylines right now and has recently been mentioned all over town. The last she was seen she had just given birth to a baby and was shacking up with fugitive Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) somewhere out of the country.  This was just after Michael (Chad Duell) left her heartbroken.

A guilt ridden Michael Corinthos recently made an unsuccessful trip to Puerto Rico looking for her. This dead end caused him to confront Port Charles enemy number one, Carlos Rivera in regards to her whereabouts. Fearing a fallout between Michael and Carlos, his worried father Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) enlisted Uncle Jason (Billy Miller) for some backup. This situation is sure to come to a head.

The return of Sabrina, possibly in time for the Nurses Ball, is sure to ruffle some feathers, answer some question, and initiate fallout for many key players. While one nurse is soon to be accounted for, one remains MIA. Rosalie Martinez (Linda Elena Tovar) was last known to have a big secret. She then married and evidently divorced Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). Since then the show has seemed to forget she ever existed.

According to a ABC Soaps in Depth article a GH insider has acknowledged the lack of Rosalie in Port Charles but teases, “But it’s a soap, so never say never!” It seems this storyline will not be revisited, at least for now.
