General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie’s Reveal Party – Sam Attempts to Hide Big Baby News

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Samantha (Kelly Monaco) and Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) had a doctor’s appointment and ultrasound, during which Dr. Kelly Lee (Minae Noji) found out the sex of their baby.  Both Jason and Sam agreed they wanted to go the traditional route and not find out before the baby is born.  Dr. Lee gave Sam a sealed envelope with the sex inside if they chose to find out sooner.

Sam went to visit her best friend, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) who admitted to being a bad friend being so absorbed in her wedding planning that she hasn’t seen much of Sam, but she promises to throw Sam the best baby shower ever.

Maxie discovers the envelope in Sam’s purse, and when Sam explains that they don’t want to know, Maxie thinks they are crazy. While Sam is distracted, she steals the envelope, determined to make this baby shower a memorable one.

General Hospital’s Maxie is the best party planner in Port Charles, but despite her best efforts, her parties never end the way she has planned.

This shower will be no different than any other event, what could possibly go wrong at a Davis – Cassadine – Quartermaine – Corinthos event, right?  She always seems to find trouble, she is a magnet for it.  As she plans this baby shower, knowing it is against Sam and Jason’s wishes, she plans on making it a reveal party with the inside of the cake being either pink or blue for the sex of the baby.

Maxie’s heart is definitely in the right place, but there is no doubt Sam is not going to be happy that she went against her wishes.  Maybe Sam has other reasons for not wanting to spoil the surprise, she knows this pregnancy is a miracle and probably doesn’t want anything to jinx it, so she will be determined to keep the secret for as long as possible.  Sam stops Maxie before she can reveal it to everyone, but can she stop it before Jason finds out?
