‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Julian Jerome Faces The Music – Arrested For Duke’s Murder At 2016 Nurse’s Ball

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal the 2016 Nurse’s Ball will be as dramatic and eventful as always – and this year will be the location of Julian Jerome’s [William DeVry] long overdue arrest for the slaying of Duke Lavery [Ian Buchanan].

GH fans will recall it was after last year’s Nurse’s Ball that Duke was gunned down in the MetroCourt parking garage by Carlos Rivera [Jeffrey V Parise] acting on Julian’s orders. Duke staggered his way to the docks only to die in the arms of soul mate Anna Devane [Finola Hughes].

Julian’s arrest is karma for the reformed mobster who has now gone back to his dirty mob dealings behind the back of new wife Alexis Davis [Nancy Lee Grahn]. When news broke that Carlos was alive and on the run, Alexis had to have a twinge of concern about Julian.

Julian has insisted to all who will listen that Carlos went rogue and shot Duke on his own – but we all know it’s not true. Will Alexis stand by her man when Jordan Ashford [Vinessa Antoine] slaps cuffs on Julian at the black tie event? Maybe… Maybe not…

It’s Alexis that has kept Julian out of jail for his many crimes with her legal expertise – but once she finds out he’s back running the Jerome organization, she may wash her hands of her hubby. Sure the sex is hot, but if she can’t trust Julian, they could be done.

Julian will soon know that his arrest is a possibility when Paul Hornsby [Richard Burgi] informs him that Anna and Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] left town to chase down Carlos. It’s not in Paul’s best interests that Carlos talk – nor in Julian’s.

Sonny and Anna have made a pact to let Carlos live in order to take down the culprit ultimately responsible for Duke’s death – and that’s Julian. GH spoilers tease that when Sonny and Anna confront Carlos in Ecuador, shots will ring out.

Will Paul and Julian conspire to take out Carlos before he can spill the goods on either of them? That’s a good idea, but doesn’t seem like it will work out because GH spoilers indicate Carlos will live long enough to give testimony.
But is it Carlos shooting at Sonny and Anna? Them shooting at Carlos? Or did Julian send a hit man to try and take out Carlos before he could testify against him? Either way, it doesn’t look like the plan will work and Carlos will be rounded up so he can spill dirt on a number of people.

Not only will it be shocking for Alexis to see her husband arrested, but we wonder if Julian will be behind bars and will miss Lucas Jones’ [Ryan Carnes] wedding to Brad Cooper [Parry Shen]. Their wedding is also set for May sweeps and may coincide with the Nurse’s Ball.

Julian is on the cusp of disaster with this arrest. He could lose Alexis once all his dirty secrets come out, Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] is gunning to take Crimson from him, and he’s headed to jail without the best lawyer in Port Charles to defend him. What a mess!
