‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Is Romance In The Air For Hayden And Finn, Or Quirky Doctor Covered For Hayden As A “Friend?”

‘General Hospital’ spoilers tease that in the coming weeks Finn (Michael Easton) will continue to struggle with his developing feelings for Hayden.(Rebecca Budig) As General Hospital viewers have seen in the last few weeks, Hayden has shown sincere concern for Finn, his health and his well-being. Hayden has gone to great lengths to help him at every turn.

We have seen Finn soften towards Hayden and as we know Finn has revealed to Hayden previously that he is “dying” from some disease. Finn began pushing Hayden away when she approached him in the lab just the other day, advising her to leave town and encouraged her to move on with her life without a man. Of course, Hayden perceived this as Finn not caring about her at all and stormed out. Is Finn falling for Hayden? Perhaps, he is attempting to protect her from getting hurt?

Finn’s feelings for Hayden were later deepened when Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) was pushed down the stairwell by the killer, which was revealed to be none other than Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi). This fall took place soon after she and Hayden got into a rather nasty argument regarding the diamonds that Hayden found out that Elizabeth had.

Finn observed the face-off and later questioned Hayden and assured her that he doesn’t think she did it at all.  Hayden then questioned him as to why and the bigger question about his motives and feelings for her were further questioned when Hayden was confronted by Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) about her whereabouts when Elizabeth took the nearly fatal fall down the stairwell.

GH viewers were left puzzled when Finn jumped in and gave Hayden an alibi, telling Jordan that Hayden was with him. We are left wondering if Finn has romantic feelings for Hayden after all? How far will Finn go to ensure Hayden’s innocence and how will he prove it? Will Finn attempt to find the killer with much more conviction now that he realizes the woman he is finding himself falling for getting in over her head?
