‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Hot Couple Alert! Ned And Olivia Get A Second Shot At Love

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that a new coupling is brewing in Port Charles and it’s a recoupling of a beloved twosome – Olivia Falconeri [Lisa LoCicero] and Ned Ashton [Wally Kurth]! This is exciting since their split was abrupt and hurtful for Olivia and GH fans.

When Wally Kurth stepped back into his role as Justin Kiriakis over at ‘Days of Our Lives’ we knew that was NOT good news for Olivia and Ned but his brief cameo on GH when he showed up to dump Olivia for lying to Julian Jerome [William deVry] was a shocker.

Remember the lie was Ned’s idea in the first place so dumping her for taking his advice seemed like a real jerk move. Hopefully Ned will offer an apology first thing when he sees Olivia again. When Kurth came back recurring on GH, fans were promised he would be woven back into the fabric ASAP.

Looks like GH showrunners are doing as promised because recent spoilers reveal that Ned and Olivia will rekindle their romance soon. The set up for this is that Ned finds out that Olivia and Julian are co-parenting civilly so he’s cool with getting back with her.

Since Olivia hasn’t had any action in a while – and was even pining for Julian there for a hot minute, this is a great thing for her. Olivia hasn’t had much screen time aside from the “boobgate” lawsuit, so it would be nice to see her in a storyline that’s not about her lactating.

Ned coming back is also good for Alexis Davis [Nancy Lee Grahn]. She’s about to need her BFF once she finds out Julian has been lying to her about being back in the mob. No doubt Ned will have something to say about Alexis hitching herself to the “reformed” mobster…

Plus, now that Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] and Lulu Spencer [Emmer Rylan] are working things out, Olivia needs something in her life to focus on since she’s got no other drama. Will Olivia demand an apology from Ned? Or will they move on without going into the breakup drama?

It’s exciting to see Ned back in the swing of things with the Quartermaines – especially now that Jason Morgan [Billy Miller] won ELQ back from Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher]. And Ned still has to cope with mom Tracy Quartermaine’s [Jane Elliot] personality shift.
