‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Hayden Fears Mom Naomi Will Double Cross Her For Diamonds

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig] will immediately suspect the motives that brought her mom Naomi Dreyfus [Robin Riker] to Port Charles. Hayden will wonder if Naomi is there because she cares – or is looking for a quick buck.

This is the worst time for Hayden’s mom to show up. Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] is missing and presumed dead. That’s bad enough, but made worse still because Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] has told Jordan Ashford [Vinessa Antoine] about the diamonds that Nik took from Hayden.

Turns out Naomi may also know about the gems and is looking for a payday. It’s too bad that the diamonds went missing with her husband and, as far as Hayden knows now, they’re at the bottom of Port Charles harbor with her husband’s body.

Naomi and Hayden were both left flat busted after Raymond Berlin was sent to jail for his big Ponzi scheme – aside from Hayden’s emergency gemstone stash. But now, both women are truly bereft. Naomi wants her share of the diamonds but will she believe they’re gone?

Hayden tells her mom that her hubby took them from her, but Naomi may think that Hayden is scamming her and could pressure her daughter to pay up. Hayden is also not in a trustworthy frame of mind and thinks her mom is not there for love and it’s all about the money.

But then things get even worse for Hayden because GH spoilers tease that Jordan will alert the FBI that Hayden had a stack of diamonds. But who can prove that they were hers? After all, Liz can only offer hearsay evidence that Nikolas told her the diamonds were Hayden’s.

The diamonds are gone and Nikolas is gone. There is no proof they even existed – except for the photo that Nikolas texted to Hayden – and that still doesn’t prove that they were hers. The FBI will come knocking at the door of Wyndemere with more accusations.

This is worrisome, because since Naomi knows about the diamonds, she could rat Hayden out to the Feds. Hayden was there when her mom flipped on her dad to save her skin and may be worried that Naomi will now do the same to her.
