‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Hayden And Finn Grow Closer – Romance In The Future For Con Artist And Dying Doctor?

They seem like the most unlikely of General Hospital pairings. He, the mysterious, somewhat quirky infectious diseases specialist whose closest companion is Roxie the bearded dragon. She, the lovely yet troubled daughter of a Ponzi scheme fraudster who milked the doctor’s foundation – among other crimes – of all its funds before he went to jail.

And yet, General Hospital’s Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) – real name Rachel Berlin – and Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) have formed an unlikely friendship, bonding over his mystery illness for which he needs regular injections of a certain serum that’s only available via his connections. He reluctantly admitted to Hayden that he is dying, which has spurred the normally self-centered con man’s daughter to genuinely want to help him. Hayden has been there for him on several occasions with his medicine through a series of events that found the two together. She saved the day when he was in jail for violating his suspension from GH by sneaking into his locker there, bringing him the meds and injecting him, as he was in a very weakened state.

Now that Finn’s drug connection has stopped supplying him his needed meds due to his arrest, Hayden tries to help him locate another connection to find him his medication. He tells her point-blank that he doesn’t want her messing in his business, and effectively tells her to butt out. Even though he kicks her out of his Metro Court suite, Hayden is still intent on helping him and won’t be deterred that easily. Finn seems to care about her in his own odd way and doesn’t want her finding trouble, especially with the trouble she’s in because of her father’s deeds. What’s next for these two on General Hospital?

Now that he’s been sprung from the slammer, time will tell if the sparks that have been building between the two will fly. All bets are on yes, but will Finn’s grave condition be the factor that ultimately extinguishes those sparks? Don’t count a future for these two out yet.
