‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Week of September 5 – 9: Promises, Accusations, Revelations, Blackmail and Emergencies

Please note that the encore episode for Labor Day Monday (September 5), will be the episode that aired March 4th, 2016.

General Hospital this past week included the revelation that Heather Webber (Robin Mattson) told her son, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) that Naomi Dreyfus (Robin Riker) had an affair with Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) father, Dr. Jeff Webber (then Richard Dean Anderson), and there were not only 2 Webber daughters, but 3; Hayden Barnes Cassadine (Rebecca Budig) being the third.

When the power went out at General Hospital, a lot of things transpired, including the fact that someone shoved Liz down the hospital stairs. The obvious suspect is Hayden because her and Elizabeth had an argument that got physical, with Hayden slapping Liz across the face and threatening her, shortly before the power went out.

General Hospital’s Nurse Elizabeth Webber names Hayden as the one who pushed her, and Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antione) arrests Hayden before she escapes Port Charles. Did Hayden really push her, or was Liz far too close to finding out the truth about the hospital killer, and he decided to get rid of her before she became a problem? As the investigation is on its way, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will find something that could change everything!

Who will be there to support Hayden? We know that she has gotten quite close to Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), with them sharing their first kiss last week. Will her mother stick around Port Charles to support Hayden too?

General Hospital’s Franco has never been a saint, and has a long criminal record of his own. It does look like the love of a good woman has kept him straight. Franco will be struggling with if he should reveal the truth to Elizabeth; but could fate take that out of his control, when Elizabeth’s health takes a turn for the worse?

We also see that GH’s archenemy Franco tries to reach out to Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) to let him know about Liz’s crisis, but Jason ignores the call because he is having a private romantic evening with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), the night before their wedding. When Jason finds out about the “accident” and that Franco and Liz are back together, he is going to make it very clear that he does not approve of their reunion. How will this all affect Jason and Liz’ son Jake Webber (Hudson West)?

General Hospital fans know there is no love lost between Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Ava Jerome (Maura West). With Ava blackmailing D.A. Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi), you can be sure she will be acting very confident that she will get her way. Her actions are going to make Sonny suspicious, and he will begin to wonder what she is really up to.

Now that Ava has replaced Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) bipolar medications, he is starting to lose control. He will become more manic, and end up missing work, which will make everyone suspicious. What will Morgan do, when the medication is completely out of his system? You can bet that something dangerous is going to happen, and even though he insists he is taking his meds, will everyone believe him? Has Ava gone too far in her quest to separate Morgan and her daughter Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin)and will this also be the end of any hope for Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins) to be with Kiki?

General Hospital’s beloved couple, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) Falconeri have had their hopes and dreams dashed when Dr. Kelly Lee (Minae Noji) told them that the only embryo the hospital had was not viable. Lulu has gone to ask Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) if it’s possible the embryo in Crichton Clark is still there. Robert returns this week with troubling news for Dante and Lulu. Did he discover the embryo, or will he bring more heartbreak?
