‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Thursday January 21: Sonny Targets Ava – Sam Accuses Liz – Nikolas Stunned by Witness News – Curtis Makes Demands

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for the Thursday, January 21 episode show action for Sonny, Ava, Carly, Morgan, Hayden and Nikolas. More showdowns over baby Avery and ELQ are in store. Here’s what you need to know.

Looks like Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] will get some good news. Is this about his investigation into Raj the gunrunner? Has Sonny connected him to Ava Jerome [Maura West]? Sonny and Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] will have a confrontation.

Morgan wants to help, Sonny wants him out of it. He wants to keep all his kids safe – Morgan and Avery in particular, in this situation. Meanwhile, Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] tries again to get Ava to let Sonny see more of his daughter.

They have a chat at the MetroCourt. Will Ava finally be more amenable or will she continue to thwart Carly’s efforts on Sonny’s behalf? Out at Wyndemere, Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig] is working on Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] so she can meet Tracy Quartermaine’s [Jane Elliot] demands.

But then Hayden gets a call from Curtis [Donnell Turner] – he wants his money and he wants it now. Has he given her the last bit of information – that Nikolas was the one who hired the shooter that almost killed her? Hayden now has more pressure.

Jordan Ashford [Vinessa Antoine] comes to see Nikolas to tell him witnesses came forward that named him as the aggressors in the assault. But since the doctor who spoke up has ties to Carly, Nikolas could hold his position that he was attacked.

But with it now as a he said-he said situation, it’s doubtful that Jason Morgan [Billy Miller] will be prosecuted. That puts Jason’s share of ELQ back in play. Nikolas is on the brink of losing everything – his money, Spencer Cassadine’s [Nicolas Bechtel] legacy, and all of it.

Look for Nikolas to get more romantic with Hayden as he contemplates making a big change in his life – is Nik ready to put a ring on it to try and use Hayden’s marriage plan to keep his hands on ELQ? Jordan will also have a run in with Curtis.

It looks like Curtis has ties and some sort of influence over TJ Ashford [Tequan Richmond] that Jordan doesn’t like. In short, Jordan wants him out of town and Curtis doesn’t like what she’s saying and isn’t going to listen.

Over at Liz Webber’s [Rebecca Herbst] place, she’s not happy to find Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] there with Jason. She’s less happy when Jason says that Sam is investigating the disturbing happenings at her house. Liz makes it clear she doesn’t want Sam there.

However, Sam thinks that Liz doesn’t want her around because Liz is making all this up to try and keep Jason around. This turns into a catfight that Jason has to deal with – bet he’s regretting setting this up. Jason has to make peace and settle the controversy.
