‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Monday August 22: Laura Vs. Hayden In Custody Battle – Kiki Blasts Ava About Morgan – Lucy Confronts Kevin

‘General Hospital’ (DOOL) Spoilers for Monday, August 22 is promising to have a lot of confrontations, and plenty of people are going to be left with hurt feelings.

True to form, General Hospital’s Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has no qualms expressing how she feels about Ava Jerome (Maura West). “It will be a cold day in hell before I ever break bread with Ava Jerome.” Might be easier said than done though; Carly’s husband, Sonny (Maurice Benard) shares a young daughter, Avery (portrayed by Ava and Grace Scarola) with Ava, and their son Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) is in a committed relationship with Ava’s oldest daughter, Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin).

Speaking of GH’s Kiki, she is having her own share of problems with her mother. Kiki and Morgan’s on-again-off-again relationship has been halted several times by Ava, most notably by him cheating on Kiki with her own mother. “Is there anything you wouldn’t do to drive us apart?” Kiki asks Ava about her relationship with Morgan. You would think after all the trouble Ava has caused for the couple, that Kiki would know better than to reveal any secrets to her mom, telling Ava that Morgan gave her an STI was probably the worst thing she could have ever done!

General Hospital’s Laura Webber (Genie Francis) is still reeling from the “death” of her son, Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher), and now feels that she needs to step up and take care of her grandson, Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel). She approaches Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) for advice about Spencer’s future.

Laura and asks whether she shold let him go away to school, and before Liz can respond, Nikolas’ widow, Hayden Barnes Cassadine (Rebecca Budig) walks in and says “Over my dead body!” Is there a custody battle on the horizon? Is Hayden’s wanting to keep Spencer close because she genuinely loves him and his father, or will he just be a pawn in her next scam?

Onetime GH supercouple, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Dr. Kevin “Doc” Collins are both single, but in complicated situations. Kevin travelled half-way around the world to help Laura find out if her son Nikolas was alive; which brought up the possibility that he has some real feelings for Laura. Do you like Laura with Kevin, or are you still rooting for the supercouple to reunite?

Time seems to have changed some things for these two. General Hospital’s Lucy and Kevin have gone their separate ways, but knowing Lucy the way we do, she never was able to let “Doc” go completely, and when she sees him with Laura, she confronts Kevin about him going on a date with Laura. Which is a bit hypocritical considering that Lucy was caught recently with her ex, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) by Ava, after they spent a drunken night together.
