‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Laura and Lulu Team Up – Find What Helena’s Key Unlocks – What Do They Find?

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Laura Spencer [Genie Francis] will not give up on finding what that key unlocks that Helena Cassadine [Constance Towers] left her and she will team up with Lulu Spencer [Emme Rylan] to find the lock that fits it.

Looks like the two Spencer gals will locate a trunk, probably in the attic or one of the unused wings of Wyndemere, and the key fits. GH spoilers indicate they will find some memento of one of Laura’s past loves – but what could it be?

The likely answer is the past love is Stefan Cassadine. Laura was forced into her relationship with Stavros Cassadine, but she found love with his brother Stefan instead. Back in 1998, there was a trunk that played prominently with Stefan and Laura.

Inside was a baby blanket that belonged to Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) that was left behind when Laura fled Cassadine Island. There were also some dresses of Laura’s and an engagement ring that Laura had been gifted by Stavros.

The trunk was opened by Stefan during his romance with Katherine Bell and he ended up giving her the ring after Katherine admired it. Laura advised Stefan to get rid of the trunk because Katherine’s feelings were hurt when she found it contained things of Laura’s.

Of course, we know that Katherine died but since the ring was a Cassadine heirloom, it was likely NOT buried with Stefan’s dead fiancée. The question is, do the same items remain in the trunk as when we last saw it opened in the late 90s?

And what does this mean? If the ring is in there, it would indicate Stavros Cassadine may have cheated death and be lurking out there somewhere. But if it’s a trinket from Stefan, it would likely indicate Stefan is back from the dead.

So what will Laura and Lulu find in the trunk? The ring? Some other twisted item from Helena or another memento from Stefan or Stavros we’ve never seen before? And is what Laura finds there what will send her out of Port Charles on an adventure?
