‘General Hospital’ Spoilers February 5 – Cliffhanger Friday: Jason Races to Find Sam – Jake’s Surgery Takes Bad Turn – Sonny Meets Dr Munro

Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] is frantic when Lucas Jones [Ryan Carnes] tells her and Jason Morgan [Billy Miller] that there is a complication in Jake Spencer’s [James Nigbor] surgery. What could it be? Does he need a transfusion? Will this raise questions about his identity?

Looks like Jake will come out of his surgery in one piece and will confess to murder – the guilt-ridden kid thinks he killed Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco]. Will Jason already be on his way to find Sam by then? GH spoilers hint that Jason will get a call about Danny Morgan that worries him.

Monica Quartermaine [Leslie Charleson] dropped Danny off at a party, but Sam never picked him up. Will Jason hear Jake’s confession and know to start looking at Liz’s house? Sam’s life is in danger – she’s conked out and hallucinating from fumes and the house will soon go up in flames.

Jason to the rescue! Looks like he’ll get her out in time, but this drama will likely spread over onto Monday’s show before Liz’s house is utterly ravaged by fire. Sam will not emerge unscathed and may be at GH for a while. Who will take care of Danny?

In Vegas, Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] may have some nagging concerns about Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig] and the guy who called her Rachel – Baxter Corbin. Hayden will play dumb to any questions Nikolas has, but he will still wonder what’s up.

Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] meets his new neurosurgeon Dr Griffin Munro [Matt Cohen] and the doc and Sonny are expected to hit it off. Looks like Griffin has an usual past that Sonny might feel they have in common – plus Griffin has a tie to someone in Port Chuck.

Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] is going full steam ahead with her kid plan and tells Franco [Roger Howarth] she’s ready to adopt. Franco thought they were still in the consideration phase, not the action phase. Can he slow her roll without upsetting her? Or will Nina talk him into it?

Kiki Jerome [Hayley Erin] is angry that Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] pulled away just when they were about to get intimate. He says he can’t have sex with Kiki – and she gets very upset. Kiki will lash out at Morgan who is likely struggling with side effects of his medication.

Molly Lansing [Haley Pullos] is aggravated at Kristina Corinthos’ [Lexi Ainsworth] drama and attitude and demands that she come clean with her. Looks like Kristina tells Molly what happened with Parker Forsyth [Ashley Jones], her professor, so we’ll finally get all the details.
