‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Elizabeth’s Rapist Tom Baker To Return? Will Liz Face Him Soon?

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease that Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) will soon face a threatening and unsettling blast from the past. Yeah—you guessed it! Tom Baker—the photographer that raped Elizabeth approximately 20 years ago. General Hospital viewers will never forget that horrific night where 15-year-old Elizabeth was viciously raped in the park.

Fortunately, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) came along and took care of her and tended to her broken soul and made her feel whole again. This event was the beginning of the unforgettable love story of Lucky and Liz that many GH fans loved to see every day. Eventually, the four musketeers, which included. Lucky, Nikolas, Emily, and Elizabeth, all banded together to bring Tom down for what he had done. Tom did not go easy, he attempted to blackmail Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) and Emily (Amber Tamblyn) by threatening to pose their nude pictures on the internet unless they paid him a substantial amount of money.

Tom was eventually caught and stood trial for the rape of Elizabeth. Elizabeth has felt safe knowing that the man who raped her so violently was locked up and would never be released. Of course, Liz knew the time would come when Tom would eventually be released and it appears her worst fears are now about to unfold.

In a recent turn of events that unfolded on General Hospital, Elizabeth received a disturbing phone call where she learned that the man who raped her as a teen was up for parole and there was a good chance that he would soon be released, claiming that the reason for this decision was that Tom has changed. But, has he really?

We all know the first thing Tom will likely do is track down Elizabeth but is he truly sorry? How will Elizabeth react after seeing Tom after all these years? Liz’s fear is understandably justified but at least she has Franco (Roger Howarth) to put her fears to rest. No doubt Franco won’t let Tom ever hurt Elizabeth again. Will Franco and Tom have a confrontation? The havoc Tom could unleash could be their worst nightmare yet or is it possible that Tom has changed? Could Tom want forgiveness? I don’t see that happening but we will soon find out! Stay tuned!
