Over the past many weeks on “General Hospital” (GH) we have all seen Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) struggling to come to grips with her alcohol addiction, but is that all about to change?
In the newest ABC General Hospital video promo “Denial is no longer an option.” So by the looks of things Alexis is finally going to have to come to terms with the fact that she has a serious problem.
It all started after her and Julian’s (William DeVry) marriage spiraled out of control and he almost killed her. After she tried to cover for Julian it all backfired on her and she was disbarred. So now she has nothing to do with her time and is hitting the bottle ever chance she gets. Not to mention the fact she promised her daughter Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) that she would no longer drink.
In the video you see Sam asking her mother Alexis if she was drinking while watching her son Danny (T.K. Weaver). It appears that she passed out on the couch and let cookies burn in the oven. You can see smoke in the house, but luckily it does not look like there was a fire, but things could have been a lot worse. Could this be an eye opener for Alexis?
“GH” spoilers tease that Alexis’s behavior leads to disturbing consequences. Sam may have to make a pretty hard decision and not let her mom watch Danny anymore until she gets help. Alexis has been in denial for quite some time now, but hopefully, this will be enough for her to do something about her problem.
So GH fans, do you think it’s time for Alexis to get help with her drinking problem? It’s clear that she can’t kick it all on her own. Hopefully, she will get help before it is too late. She already put Danny’s life in danger and things could have ended up being a lot worse. Stay tuned to ABC’s General Hospital to see how this all plays out.
