‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Friday September 9: Major New Evidence Discovered – Carly Questions Morgan’s Erratic Behavior – Griffin Needs Sonny’s Help

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, September 9, 2016 show Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) meeting with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), telling Sonny, he is the only one he can trust to tell him the truth. Is Griffin referring to when his father, Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) was murdered; or is he coming to Sonny for help with Claudette “CJ” Boland (Bree Williamson) and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey)?

General Hospital has been doing a fantastic job when it comes to dealing with mental illness; bipolar disorder in particular. We know that Maurice Benard suffers from the disorder in real-life, and felt it was very important to bring it into the storyline and make it believable. In the past year, Sonny and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) son, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) was diagnosed with the disorder and TPTB have been great in showing the struggle it is to stay on your medications and to maintain a structured life-style.

General Hospital’s Carly has never been one to hold her tongue, especially when it comes to her children. She makes it a point to ask Morgan how things were going, when he’s not been his usually cheerful self when he came home after missing Jason (Billy Miller) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) Morgan’s wedding reception. Morgan is being to act more and more erratic, and even though he is faithfully taking his medication, it doesn’t seem to be helping; which is a direct result with Ava Jerome (Maura West) replacing his meds with placebos. How long before he does something destructive again?

General Hospital Sweethearts, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) Falconeri have been on a rollercoaster for a while now, when it comes to them being able to have any more biological children. When Dr. Kelly Lee (Minae Noji) had informed them that their last remaining embryo was no longer viable; Lulu thought of the embryo left at Crichton-Clark Clinic. Dante and Lulu approached Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) to investigate.

Robert informs Dante and Lulu, that although the freezer was fire proof and survived the explosion at the clinic, the freezer had a key in it and all the contents were gone. Lulu is determined to find that embryo, but at what cost? Dante asks Lulu that very thing. “Is it worth risking our lives to find out?” Lulu is a Spencer, which means, she will risk everything to find that embryo. Will Dante go along with the search or will she go on her own, risking her marriage in the process?

When General Hospital’s power went out, and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) was shoved down the stairs, Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) joined forces with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to clear Hayden Barnes Cassadine’s (Rebecca Budig) name. When a nurse handed them the bag of Liz’ personal effects, they discovered new evidence that will blow this case out of the water.

At the same time, you can see D.A. Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) at the PCPD, demanding Police Commissioner, Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) to do her job. Will she listen to what Curtis has found, or will she follow Paul’s direction and plow ahead with the charges against Hayden?

General Hospital’s Dr. Griffin Munro informed Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) that they had a serious problem. After the power outage, a lot of blood became useless and now there was a shortage of the blood type Elizabeth needed. Franco jumped into action, first confronting Naomi Dreyfus (Robin Riker) that her daughter and Liz would obviously share the same blood type, and that Hayden could potentially save Elizabeth’s life.

When Naomi refused to go along with it, we see Franco goes to the police station to speak with Hayden. Will he tell her the truth to save Elizabeth, and will Hayden be willing to do what it takes to save her dying sister?
