‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Does Morgan’s Fiery Car Crash Mean ‘GH’ Writers Are Setting Stage For Bryan Craig Recast – Possible Plastic Surgery?

Is there a Bryan Craig recast heading to Port Charles?  This week on General Hospital no doubt has been an explosive one in so many ways. GH viewers have seen over the past week or so, Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) behavior, which has been getting more and more erratic and out of control, thanks to Ava Jerome (Maura West) switching his bipolar medication to a placebo. Morgan still has no idea that the medication he has been taking is not his medication at all. Things went from bad to worse, when Morgan got a tip from Ava that Kiki (Hayley Erin) went to comfort Dillion (Palmer Watkins) after learning that his father was the serial killer. Morgan went to the boathouse, and saw a dark silhouette of a couple in an intimate embrace through the window so now he assumes Kiki is cheating on him with Dillon. Morgan then went to the Floating Rib where he ran into Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and impulsively kissed her then afterwards they both realized it was a mistake and Nelle was able to talk him down. Of course, that did not stop Morgan from continuing to drink and drown his sorrows, despite his doctor’s warnings about mixing his drugs with alcohol. Morgan then stole Julian’s car while it was parked outside the Floating Rib and took off intoxicated. Jason later caught up to him with the help of TJ (Tequan Richmond) but will it be too late?

We saw in the most recent episode of General Hospital, Sonny (Maurice Benard) also talking to Griffin Monroe (Matt Cohen) and having a conversation in regards to Sonny’s business and the right he has or not to have to kill his enemy in the eyes of the church. It appeared as if Griffin had gotten through to Sonny and he ended up calling the hit off. However, it may already be too late since Morgan has the car with the bomb in it. We saw Morgan crash the car and then viewers were horrified when his car suddenly blew up. Could Sonny’s need for revenge cost him the life of his son? Is Morgan really dead? Could he possibly have survived such a fiery and horrible crash and if he is really dead, will this be the end for Sonny and Carly?

No doubt Carly (Laura Wright) will be angry that Sonny lied to her about not plotting revenge against Julian since he promised her he wouldn’t. The crash and the supposed “death” of Morgan will no doubt rock their world to its core. Many internet sources are claiming that a Morgan recast is in the works,  Bryan Craig announced last week that he had decided to leave the ABC soap.  If this is true, are GH writers setting up the scene for another storyline similar to when Jason was presumed dead in 2012 and came back with a different face? Considering the severity of the car crash, it’s logical to think that Morgan will need plastic surgery.  Will Morgan be recognizable to his family? Only time will tell which direction GH plans to go with this. Stay tuned!
