‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carlos’ Twin Joe Rivera Gets Closer To Sabrina – Will He Steal Her From Michael?

‘General Hospital’ fans are very elated to have Jeffrey Vincent Parise back on the canvas, even though not as Carlos Rivera. Parise now has the opportunity to show viewers a different range of his talent as he now plays the role of Dr. Joe Rivera, Carlos’ twin. He was very pleased with the way the fans expressed their anger with his character being killed off twice, after all it was the reason the show executives decided to bring him back so many times.

In light of all this, Parise spoke with Soaps in Depth and dished on what’s upcoming for his new character. In the newest SID magazine issue, he shared how much he was happy to be back and to give things another shot as a new character. He also spoke of things to come and how Joe’s presence will affect Michael [Chad Duell] and Sabrina’s [Teresa Castillo] relationship.

He describes Joe as “very subdued, together and thoughtful”. He further highlights that Carlos was a good guy at heart but due to his nature he turned in the wrong direction which led to his death. Parise noted that while Joe has a very guilty conscience of his brother’s death, he’s going to do everything in his power to make up for it especially where his nephew is concerned.

It didn’t stop there Parise teased “It gets interesting…we’ll see” when asked how good Joe is in comparison to his now deceased brother. He also shares that another way Joe is different from Carlos is that he’s big on hugs. While the actor remains very clandestine about where his character stands, its obvious he has some romantic interest in Sabrina. Could he be any different from Carlos? Will Joe eventually steal away Sabrina from Michael? Does he have the charm to do so?
