‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Andre Makes A Choice, Professes His Love To Jordan – What About Anna?

“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers recently revealed a shaky Port Charles couple may finally be solidifying their relationship.  According to Soap Opera Digest, after months of mixed signals and false starts, Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) will finally confess his love for Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine). The only problem is; she may not return the sentiment.

From the beginning, Andre and Jordan’s relationship has been a hot and cold game of cat-and-mouse. Just when they seem to be making progress, work obligations interfere or a spot of jealousy causes Jordan to put on the breaks. In a turning point in their relationship, Jordan finally confronts Andre regarding his feelings for friend and patient, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Fans have witnessed concern regarding Andre and Anna’s relationship from Jordan a number of times in the past. According to Antoine, Jordan addressing the issue again, “She has kind of a knee-jerk reaction to what she sees between him and Anna, like, ‘I’ve given you my time and now you’re showing me that maybe you don’t want it. Well, my focus doesn’t have to be on you, either!'” Apparently, Jordan’s approach is finally able to make Andre understand that his relationship with Anna is interfering with the two of them from making progress.

Andre decides it is best to break all ties with Anna. After confessing to Anna that his interest in her isn’t only professional, he returns to Jordan with renewed conviction. For the first time, he tells her that he loves her. His confession, however, is not met with the return confession of love but rather a thank you and a kiss.
