‘General Hospital’ RUMOR: Nelle Tells Sonny She’s Pregnant – Trapping Mobster With Baby?

As if the plague of believing that he killed his own son wasn’t enough, it now looks like, “General Hospital’s” Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is in for some fresh torment on the heels of sleeping with his other son’s girlfriend!

Ok, I know what you’re thinking, there’s no proof that Sonny and young Miss Nelle (Chloe Lanier) actually did the dirty deed. Who knows, maybe they did, maybe they didn’t! But if a new rumor is true, that won’t stop Nelle from claiming she’s pregnant!

For months GH viewers have been tantalized and strung along by the blond beauty’s trail of deception. Long after her appearance in Port Charles, we still don’t know what she’s really after or who’s manipulating her devious actions.

We do know that her latest trick to con Sonny into believing they slept together worked. Sonny is wracked with guilt, and determined that his estranged wife Carly (Laura Wright) not find out.

Nelle has assured Sonny to his face that she’ll never spill the beans, but behind his back it’s clear she’s ramping up her plan to wreak revenge. How will Sonny react if the rumors are true, and Nelle blurts out that she’s carrying the aging mobster’s umpteenth child?

This week GH fans saw Nelle playing with a baby rattle and swearing that Carly will get what’s coming to her. Uh-oh, this doesn’t look good for the anticipated CarSon holiday reunion!

Complicating matters is Nelle’s growing attraction to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Surely she doesn’t think they stand a chance at happiness if she blackmails his father with an unplanned pregnancy?

Obviously, Nelle isn’t thinking clearly at this point. If she goes through with her rumored plan to claim that she’s pregnant, Sonny will be very, very, unhappy.
