General Hospital rumors are hinting that GH fans may lose one of their favorite Port Charles residents to primetime. Earlier this year it was revealed that Matt Cohen had landed a gig on the CBS drama Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, however news was scarce on how big of a role Cohen would be playing on CMBB.
It’s not unusual for soap opera stars to score guest roles on primetime dramas for one or two episodes, but it sounds like Matt Cohen’s time on Criminal Minds Beyond Borders is certainly a little longer than a few episodes.

Eagle-eyed General Hospital fans noticed some interesting tweets on social media between Matt Cohen and the cast and crew of his new show. Criminal Minds Beyond Borders producer Adam Glass has been raving about Matt on social media, and how much he enjoys working with him.

So, will Matt Cohen leave GH and the role of Griffin Munro once Season 2 of Criminal Minds kicks off? Is it possible that he is doing such a good job on the show that TPTB will try to convince him to come on full time. Griffin Munro has been front and center on GH, and we would certainly miss him if he decided to head to primetime full-time. What do you guys think is going to happen?
