On November 13 Montgomery shared this message with General Hospital fans on Twitter, “Happy Sunday, ya’ll! Had a terrific meeting last night about me being part of an exciting new Sci-Fi series after my time is done on GH.”
It definitely sounded like Anthony’s time as Port Charles’ resident therapist was winding down, and seeing as how his main patient Morgan Corinthos was just killed off, the timing seemed legitimate for an exit.
General Hospital fans went in to a frenzy over Anthony’s tweet, and he got back on social media to set the record straight. According to Montgomery, we all totally misunderstood what he was saying, not only is Andre Maddox NOT going anywhere, but he will be on the ABC soap opera for at least 3 more years!
