CarSon has stood the test of time… sort of…

Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] and Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] have the benefit of being together for many long years, so that’s a plus. But we also have to remember that they’ve been divorced a whopping four times and are on marriage number five but they were never out of each other’s life.

But the fact that they keep coming back to each other has to mean something. These two seem destined to be together and that could be why no other relationship has ever worked out for either of them. Plus, even when they’re not together, Carly and Sonny were on each other’s mind.

Julexis has a touching history too…

Starting their relationship three decades ago with an unplanned pregnancy in the back of a car does NOT sound like a recipe for romance, but that’s the root of the relationship now shared by Julian Jerome [William deVry] and Alexis Davis [Nancy Lee Grahn] and it’s been a constant surprise.

For Julian to come back into Alexis’ life after all that time, save their grandson, and for them to feel an instant rekindling is special. They may be on marriage number one, but they spent decades apart, wondering about each other and in other failing romances so they have destiny on their side.
