Does Sam bring out the worst in new Jason?
We’re not saying that Sam intentionally brings out the worst in new Jason – but is being with her making him more dangerous? They did have a more volatile, adventurous and dangerous relationship before and his life with Liz, even before, was always more domesticated. Was Jason better settled with Liz?
Is the curse responsible for Jason’s misery?
Remember Helena cursed Sam and told her that she and those she loved would never be happy in this life or the next. Is Helena’s curse a real thing? Can Sam and Jason NOT be happy together? Will events continue to unfold that prevent Jason and Sam from enjoying a peaceful life?

Jake Doe was boring and he didn’t have an identity. He was Liz’s puppy dog and he didn’t have any character. Jason is trying to save and protect his family, same as before, but he doesn’t have a filter and he can’t control his emotions. He wasn’t like this with Liz because he didn’t have any strong emotions and feelings with her and he didn’t know Jake was his son. He needs therapy! Sam bringing out the worst in him and the curse crap is garbage! Jason and Sam are sweet and Jason and Liz were creepy and a complete lie.
First of all no one can blame Sam for Jason’s violent tendencies. He was a mob enforcer before he met Sam. Sam is the only woman that he has been with that he shows any emotions beside being angry all the time. Sam never encourage him to be in the mob- her love for him is not about controlling but allowing him to make his own choices. Sam definitely got a wake up call when Jason got shot on the docks. She is afraid of losing him to violence. Jason and Sam are soulmates. When he was Jake Doe he was like a lost dog. He cling to Liz because he had nothing. As far as Helena & her “curse” – Love always triumph over evil. GH writers need to give the character, Liz, her own true love. Rebecca Hearst is a great actress – give her something meaningful.
Sure wish that the writers would bring in another actor to play Lucky … I thought those two characters were meant to be .
N NO THANKKKKKSSS if they bring back LUCKY they should KILL HIM the worst father of the world award GOES tO hIm.. and i refuse to sit down and watch a conditioned stimulant man characrter come and control LIZ to be reciopical to his DEMANDS all over again… that relationship was basically DOMESTIC MENTAL VIOLENCE…. and it sickens me that the JASAM FANS are that blind to see how guys like that are these guys are the worst who you don’t let around your sisters or your children…… does everyone remember…
they throw expectations at you and then claim you to be HOLY then thouuuu and convince all of his friends to look at that one girl and put her on pedal stool and have their frineds help him to condition and control her to make her feel like she musts always be with him… and ignore all of the hell he has put her through…. and then condition you to make you feel good and then mainpulate you and then have your friends talk about you and then push and nudge you to take or give him a chance when things all blow to hell because of his quams or his own issues of never being able to grow up….. and then on top of that.. they use this ONE THING to make you feel like you OWE them.. to the ends of your days.. and they hold that over you and guilt you into making you do anyhting for them.. and say that they LOVE YOUUU… nah that’s why i hate LUCKY…. that character even cheated on LIZ over 5 times and LIZ even was scripted to go back

It seems to me that she’s missing the whole point…THERE IS NO JAKE DOE!!! The man doesn’t exist…and JASON new or not never lived with Elizabeth and her kids…an amnesiac did!!! There is only one Jason Morgan and whether he had stayed with Liz or not his memories would have started to come back and he’d still be facing the same issues he is now. The only difference is he would not have been with a woman who had the capacity to help him deal with these issues had he not gone back to Sam.
The fact is that Jason cannot hide from his past. He’s lived a violent life since becoming Jason Morgan and those tendencies and instincts weren’t going to go away no matter how much Liz might have wanted to convince herself they would…because they’re just that now…instincts. They’re a part of who he is. The bottom line is that Jason Morgan will never be a suburban Dad…retired or not…no matter how much of his memory comes back…the hit man is still there and he’ll always come out when someone he cares about is threatened.
I refuse to even comment on this nonsense curse of Helena’s. It was idiotic back in ’83 when Elizabeth Taylor played the role and cursed Luke and Laura and it’s just as idiotic now!!!
As for the question of chemistry…while I agree that the chemistry that Steve and Kelly had was the type that soap opera writers and execs can only dream of, because it creates Soap Opera Super Couples…I think that Billy and Kelly have their own special chemistry that we’re just now starting to see the intensity of and while it’s different that doesn’t make it any less wonderful to watch!!!
The bottom line for me and I think many other viewers is that it doesn’t matter whether it’s old Jason or NuJason…Jason Morgan belongs with one woman and that’s Sam.
