Maura does an excellent job week after week and this week is nonetheless the same. Ava is worried sick about her daughter Kiki (Hayley Erin). Since she has been shot she hasn’t woken up until recently. West’s character, had us as worried as she was this week when she witnessed her on screen daughter Kiki wake up and go right back into the snooze. Ava demanded restlessly to have Dr. Munroe (Matt Cohen) come to her daughter’s rescue immediately while she tried another method to revive her. West delivered that angry, worried-sick mother tone who was desperate to have her daughter back.
Finola is an “A” class actress, with several gold medal performances throughout her history as Anna on “General Hospital” and “All My Children.” Anna has been grieving Duke determined on avenging his death. Someone has been following Anna and she was desperate to find out whom. Griffin confronted Anna, because she thought he was the one stalking her. Upon discovering Griffin, Anna demanded to know why he was stalking her, he then revealed he has a connection to Duke, he is his son. Finola’s character reaction is one to talk about, although she was worried why he would be following her, she melted at the news of him being Duke’s son. Later she went to hospital in search for him to try and connect with him and tell him about the dad he never met. Should Finola be named the performer of the week?
OMG! Ainsworth literally brought us to tears with her character Kristina confessing her reason for being absent from school to her parents. When confronted by her dad Sonny (Maurice Benard), Kristina was worried that her dad found out she made advances to a female professor, however this was not the case. When she realized it wasn’t she was relieved but throughout her confession she displayed raw emotions, showing herself as utterly broken about what she had done. This performance is certainly awarding.
As usual Benard always deliver top notch performances when it’s time. This week we witnessed his character confronting his daughter about being absent from school. While he is busy paying attention to his daughter’s troubles, he is also devising a plan to turn the tables on Ava. Benard surely is a talented actor and this week he is has done no less than wow us with extra top performance as a devoted father to his children.
So GH fans, which one of these performers you think should be crowned the performer of the week?
