Each week our favorite “General Hospital” stars grab our attention as they deliver great performances with the materials they are given. This week is one where several stars did great, usually we prepare a list of four stars for you to vote but we had so many top notch performances it’s rather hard to narrow it down. But here’s a few we selected for you to vote on:
Maura West – Ava Jerome
West continues to be one of daytime’s best. With a threat out on her life, Ava was rocked with fear. You could see it all over her face and hear it in her voice. Her fear had us worried sick that for her, wondering if this threat is indeed real of something Sonny (Maurice Benard0 is doing so Ava could let him have Avery. Ava continues to worry for her life and she tries to figure out who is behind these threats. And as usual, West brought her A-game to the table.
Kelly Monaco – Sam Morgan
Often times, those who deserve recognition do not receive it. This is the case for Monaco who many thought should have received an Emmy nomination for her delivery at the Jason (Billy Miller) reveal. This week Sam figured out that Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) was the one to have Hayden (Rebecca Budig) shot out his greed to protect his acquiring ELG. Sam was very displeased with this and went to confront him, in their confrontation we saw Monaco deliver some worthy of recognition scenes.
Kirsten Storms – Maxie Jones
Maxie finally learnt that Claudette is Nathan’s (Ryan Peavey) ex-wife. Upon learning Maxie was a bit angry that Nathan did not trust her enough to tell her from the beginning. Thought they probably worked things out, Storms again has done an excellent job with her portrayal. Her work is worthy of making this list and so much more.
Michelle Stafford – Nina Reeves
Nina has made positive changes in her life. With her taking over the Crimson we saw a new side of Nina. This week she learned that Julian (William DeVry) was the one sabotaging the company and Julian saw her wrath. By flaunting all over the office screaming and raving Stafford has done extremely well with the material given this week.
Tyler Christopher – Nikolas Cassadine
It was another big week for Tyler. His alter ego Nikolas was betrayed by his wife Hayden. We saw a range of emotions as they had a major confrontation. And yet again when he was confronted by Sam, we saw another set of emotions. Tyler indeed has done supreme work.
So GH fans which of these stars do you think should be awarded the title of performer of the week?
