‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers hint that Laura Spencer [Genie Francis] will soon have an adventure all of her own and romance may be part of the picture. Genie has teased in several interviews since her contract renewal that she was hoping for a new love for Laura. Vote in our POLL on who you’d like to see Laura with.

GH spoilers hint that Scotty Baldwin [Kin Shriner] will be part of Laura’s adventure, but that doesn’t mean that he’s the romantic partner GH writers have in mind. Some GH fans think they deserve a redo at love, but others want to see Laura with someone new.

What about Robert Scorpio [Tristan Rogers]? GH casting spoilers hint that after Tristan’s 10 episode arc he’s on now, he may bounce back and forth between ‘General Hospital’ and ‘The Young and The Restless’ for a while, so he’s an intriguing possibility.

Also of age is Paul Hornsby [Richard Burgi]. Of course the DA is dirty, but Laura was married to Luke forever and he’s always been dodgy about the law – plus she overlooks her kids’ criminal activities, so she may not be too judgmental. Paul and Laura could be amazing (if he can stay out of jail).

Dr Kevin Collins [Jon Lindstrom] is single and ready to mingle now that he and Lucy Coe [Lynn Herring] are splitsville. He’s age-appropriate, intelligent and not a criminal, spy or rogue with wanderlust. Plus since she has a history of mental problems and he’s a shrink, it seems like a win…

Admittedly he’s not in Port Charles right now, but Shawn Butler [Sean Blakemore] should be out of Pentonville soon now that Curtis [Donnell Turner] found evidence he didn’t shoot Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig]. Shawn would be a sexy choice for a fresh romance with Laura.

What do you think about them with the smush name LaurAwn?

Where’s Ric Lansing [Rick Hearst] lately? Love him or hate him, he deserves a shot at love and once he’s committed, he’s all in (to the point of being stalkerish). Obviously Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] won’t take him back, so he needs a new romance too.
