Has hot-head Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) finally gone past the point of no return on, “General Hospital?” His creepy actions last week could be the tipping point that causes Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) to dump the crazed artiste.
The relationship between Franco and Liz has never been conventional but that doesn’t seem to matter to Liz. After all she is a nurse, so she’s used to fixing sick people!
The week started off badly when she learned that the man who raped her, Tom Baker (Don Harvey), had been paroled. Once Franco heard about the situation he went into anti-hero mode and vowed to keep Liz safe.

His protectiveness toward Liz is understandable and admirable. But Liz reminded him to keep it sane, and not inflame the situation. So, what did he do? He ignored Liz’s wishes and tracked down the felon.
Franco knows that Liz deplores violence but he chose to use it as a tool to make his point with Tom. Franco used a fire poker to nearly choke him out, then threatened to kill Tom if he harmed Liz.
To make matters worse, Franco did not tell his emotionally vulnerable girlfriend that he went behind her back; she had to find out from Tom. Liz was terrified upon seeing the criminal, then shocked to discover that Franco had threatened him.
Liz needs a sense of safety and security right now, not more volatility from her loved ones who should be helping her.

Franco’s latest betrayal could be a wake-up call to Liz that she can’t trust him to act in her best interests. He wants to be her savior, but he’s his own worst enemy.
This could be Liz’s best chance to stop making excuses for Franco’s bad behavior and finally cut the loose cannon loose. Do you think Liz should dump Franco, or were his actions forgivable? Vote in our poll!

What a double standard.Any man would be worried & confront their girlfriend’s rapist.People would be swooning if Sonny,Jason.Dante,etc.. did it but it’s OTT for Franco? Nope.
Franco has been nothing but emotionally & physically supportive of Elizabeth for months.In no way is that OTT. That’s what you do for someone you love & care about.

This article is a mess. Franco isn’t anymore hot headed than the other men on canvas. If Jason or Nik had done this to Tom y’all would be gushing and squeeing. Miss me with this.
so true, this poll is rigged. I am waiting for the next polls that tell Sam and Carly to leave Jason and Sonny because they are mobsters and violent. But I don’t expect it from this site–bias. Franco is more level headed than those characters. Why so biased against this character and #FRIZ? They are popular, is that the problem? Voting “No” to your poll.
I want Friz to stay together. Franco has his issues but he is working through them. Bottom line is they have great chemistry and Franco clearly cares for Liz.

we can’t even see LIZ’s kids half the time because she’s paired with FRANCO that role is too dark to have around kids in the first place.. if liz was single we would be able to see LIZ more often doing more things with other characers…… but because shes paired with FRANCO all her storylines are UNWATCHABLE and HORRENDOUS…. every person who commented and voted YES on this post is a TRUE JASAM fan pretending to be a real LIZ FAN… this is just uttere DEMORALIZATIOn ever real LIZ fan would say YES it’s time to dump franco
