‘General Hospital’ POLL: Will Franco Go To The Dark Side To Protect Liz From Her Rapist?

On ‘General Hospital’ (GH) how far will Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) go this week in order to protect Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) from the man who raped her?

Tom Baker (Don Harvey) attacked a then-teenage Liz in 1998. When she was notified last week that he was set to be paroled, she bravely made a victim impact statement in order to keep the dangerous felon behind bars.

Unfortunately for Liz the man was ultimately paroled and will return to Port Charles for the time being. Franco is determined to keep his beloved Liz safe at a time when she is feeling very insecure. GH viewers saw Franco on the phone to Tom’s brother, getting the particulars of his whereabouts.

To what lengths will Franco, a man with a very dangerous past himself, go to neutralize this latest threat to Liz?

There’s no doubt that Franco would do anything in his power to prove himself to Nurse Webber. Their fledgling relationship has been rocked by the negative attitudes of the townspeople, and by his own jealous insecurities.

So when Liz told him that Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) was the person who made her feel safe in the past, he didn’t take the news well.

The fact that he once claimed to have raped Samantha Morgan (Kelly Monaco) is another issue that he will have to contend with if he hopes to be the one that Liz turns to.

Is Franco willing to break the law for Liz? He wasn’t on the up and up when he made his phone call inquiring about Tom; Franco claimed to be the man’s parole officer when he wrote down his new address.

Remember when Franco kidnapped and imprisoned Maxi? Could he have something similar in mind for evil Tom Baker?

Franco definitely has it in him to go to the dark side. Tom Baker should be afraid, very afraid!
