‘General Hospital’ POLL: Who Holds Ava’s Fate in Their Gloved Hand? VOTE!

“General Hospital” (GH) fans recently saw Ava Jerome (Maura West) jump into action after sharing drinks with Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) who told her that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is going to stop at nothing to find out why her son, Morgan (Bryan Craig) was acting so erratic. Morgan had shown and sworn up and down that he was taking his bipolar medication faithfully, and surely Carly will not give up until she knows why he was so out of control.

Ava initially thought she would be in the clear, now that Morgan was dead and there wasn’t enough remains for them to find out if he was taking the medication or not; but after speaking to Dr. O, she managed to convince Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to let her see their daughter, Avery upstairs in her nursery. While up there, Ava snuck into Morgan’s room to switch the pills back before anyone noticed.

After Ava escaped, thanks to Sonny being so distraught and Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) not being able to prove what she did, Ava quickly got rid of the bottle of pills in a garbage can, but we all saw a gloved hand reach in and take them out of the trash right after she left. There is a lot of speculation as to who that was. Take this poll and let us know who you think that gloved hand belongs to:

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) would be a top guess because she spends a lot of time on the docks, and is furious over the Jerome family getting away with everything they have done. She has been angry and lost since Julian Jerome (William DeVry) wasn’t held accountable for Duke’s death.

Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) is also a very likely suspect because he had gotten a message from Ava telling him that she could possibly die that night, and instructed him what needed to be done, if she were to die. Scott has been a wild card so far with the Jerome family. He knows the truth about Ava switching Morgan’s meds with placebos. He could easily keep them to either save his client, or do the right thing for his ex, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zemen) and tell her what Ava did to her grandson.

Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) could have also noticed what Ava was doing, and picked up what she had tossed. The reason it could be Jason is because he likes to ride his motorcycle, and even though it wasn’t that cold out, he would have been using gloves for the ride. Jason has promised Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he would do anything to find out the truth, so he also would be close to the top of people who would follow Ava.

Dr. Liesl Obrecht could have also been at the docks, wandering around after learning all the lies Claudette Boland (Bree Williamson) had told to her and her son, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), and since it was a Fall evening, it could have been chilly enough for her to be wearing gloves. Dr. O would have been distraught, and just needed to take a moment to regroup. She could have easily seen Ava, and found her behavior very odd, especially after the chat they had earlier that day at the Metro Court.

Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) could have stumbled upon the scene, and as a doctor he would find it very odd for someone to throw out medications. The gloved hand is easily to explain, especially after we saw his scenes with Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) earlier. Finn is a huge germaphobe and he would obviously be wearing gloves to dig into a garbage can.

P.I. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is working for Julian Jerome to find out who planted the bomb on his car, and he promised he would dig into it. He could have easily been following Ava after she left Sonny’s place. He would have found it strange for her to go to a public trash can to dump something out. The question would be where his loyalty lies. Will he feel his obligation would be to Julian and Ava, or to his girlfriend, Police Officer Valerie Spencer (Brytni Sarpy) and long-time friend, Police Commissioner, Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine)?

There is also the possibility that an entire stranger found the medication as well. What would this person have to gain by picking up the pills, and what will they do with them?
