‘General Hospital’ POLL: Liz and Franco – A Love Story or A Nightmare? VOTE!

“General Hospital” fans may be in for a surprise with this pairing! I went back to some of the older videos, back to February 2016 actually, and have been watching this couple, Liz Webber-Spencer (Rebecca Herbst), and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), attempting to unfold and become ‘real’ with each other… yet each one not quite giving in completely or letting go entirely. The blossoming possible romance between these two is going to be rocky, yes; but, it’s also going to be beautiful if it’s allowed to happen.

What could stop it?

Con#1: Liz is torn by lingering attraction/love for Jason; wanting him back / knowing it won’t happen.

Con #2: Franco and times when his coming on too strong (macho).

Why should they move forward?

Pro #1: They each know the other’s vulnerabilities.
Why should they move forward?

Pro #2: Franco can help Jake because he sees much of himself in the boy and knows how to get to the real Jake… inside.

What could stop that progress?

Con #3: Jason (Billy Miller). Now that he remembers his past, he remembers it all… and hates Franco with a new zeal.

Con #4: Carly (Laura Wright). She’s already warned Liz about his dangerous side more than once.

There is one more BIG PRO to this couple… and that is:

They SMILE more! I love watching Liz’s face light up when she smiles at Franco. With her hair longer now, she’s almost “shy” when she smiles. Franco too! It’s not like he’s waiting for the “shoe to drop”, like with Nina. He’s more FUN now!

Could this pair really be good for each other in the long run? Yes. Franco’s got a lot of love to give. He just needs to find someone who’s deserving of it and who won’t try and trick him or play games with him. Liz is needy, yes. Sometimes, though, it’s for all the right reasons.

So, now that you have the pros and cons, or some of them at least; the question now remains: Should “Friz” move forward into couple status?
