‘General Hospital’ POLL: Is Morgan Corinthos Really Dead? VOTE!

Corinthos Family drama is about to explode on “General Hospital” (GH); literally. The last scene viewers saw of Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) spinning out of control, drunk, stealing a car, driving recklessly and the car blew up as he was exiting it.

This begs the question: Is Morgan dead or just missing? With Bryan Craig leaving “General hospital,” fans are speculating all over social media as to whether there will be a recast of the character or will Morgan be killed off? Some fans really want to see an end to this character while others think he is an integral part of the Corinthos Clan.

Morgan’s death will devastate Carly and she will be quick to blame Sonny because she knew he was planning a hit on Julian Jerome (William DeVry) as retaliation for his past deeds. You will remember in 2008 Sonny pushed Kate Howard (Megan Ward) out of the line of fire in his warehouse. The bullet ricocheted and hit His twelve-year-old Son Michael (Dylan Cash) in the head; putting him in a coma for more than a year. Carly and Jason (Steve Burton) were so angry with him they conspired to take both of the boys away from Sonny. Will Carly and Jason blame Sonny this time also?

On Friday’s “General Hospital” episode, Griffin Monroe (Matt Cohen) challenged Sonny’s faith and told him what he was doing was wrong and against God. He was able to appeal to Sonny’s better nature and convince him not to take matters into his own hands. Sonny called off the hit, but was it too late? Could Sonny’s hit man have rigged an explosive device to go off in Julian’s car?

After witnessing his first wife Lily (Lilly Melgar) die in a car explosion he would never want to use this as a means of retaliation. Or would he? In 2011 When he thought Johnny Zaccchara (Brandon Barash) was taking advantage of his young daughter Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) he had his men rig Jonny’s car to explode and Kristina was injured. Could history be repeating itself?

Speculation is intense as to whether the “GH” role of Morgan will be recast. It has been reported that ABC has a casting call out for a young man that sounds a lot like the character of Morgan. Does Morgan die in the explosion or does he disappear over the cliffs; thereby allowing time for the producers to find a suitable replacement? Do you feel Morgan plays an integral part in the Corinthos clan? Or is he dispensable? Either way, a very intense “General Hospital” storyline is about to unfold. Sonny will surely blame himself as will the rest of his family and friends.
