‘General Hospital’ News: Vinessa Antoine Reveals Tequan Richmond’s Status At ‘GH’ – Where Is TJ Ashford?

T.J Ashford (Tequan Richmond) has been really scarce on ‘General Hospital’ lately; this could be due to the fact that the portrayer has some major acting deals outside of the show. Viewers are wondering where is T.J, what happened to Tequan? But a recent tweet from his onscreen mother Vinessa Antoine (Jordan Ashford) has led everyone to believe that the actor is no longer on contract with the show.

Antoine was hosting a live tweet session yesterday where a fan asked about Tequan’s status with, Antoine in response stated “@vicksvapor77 no contract. He’s staying busy though. Might see him in the future.”

The last time we saw T.J, he and Molly (Haley Pullos) decided to have sex for the first time. T.J and Molly had been struggling for years, having attempting to have sex several times but had no success. Some fans have already begun to voice how disappointing they think it is if the actor has indeed been dropped to recurring. Many were expecting to see more Jordan and T.J scenes where the show could divulge more into their history, explore stories with his uncle Curtis (Donnell Turner) and his relationship with Molly.

Richmond joined ‘General Hospital’ back in November of 2012. His fantastic portrayal earned him a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Younger Actor in 2015. Richmond is scheduled to appear in the movie ‘Ringside’ as TC which should be released in the near future. Apart from being an actor he is also a recording artist who goes by the name of T-Rich. Richmond, who has played some major roles in popular American movies, is also popularly known for his portrayal of Drew Rock in the TV Series ‘Everybody Hates Chris’.
