‘General Hospital’ News: Tyler Christopher Returning to General Hospital – Details Here!

“General Hospital” fans were shocked when Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) took a tumble out a window in June. At the time it was revealed that Tyler Christopher was exiting “General Hospital” for what was described as personal reasons and Nick Stabile was coming in to replace him. We last saw Nick Stabile on July 19th after Nikolas Cassadine was shot and fell out of a window then turned up missing.

Well! good news “GH” fans Tyler Christopher is making his return as Nikolas Cassadine. According to Soap central, “Emmy winner, Tyler Christopher announced that he will be returning to General Hospital later this year. The actor made the announcement during an event at this year’s General Hospital Fan Club Weekend.”

When Tyler Christopher last aired as Nikolas there were reports that he and the show were involved in contentious contract negotiations. “GH” fans were highly upset about this. Some said that it made the scenes with the character being replaced less interesting. The character of Nikolas has been the center of attention lately and “GH” fans said they just could not get into the replacement actor, Nick Stabile. Are you happy Tyler is  returning?

Tyler Christopher won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor shortly before he left the show. Hopefully, this time, he will stick around because he is the reason we all fell in love with the character of Nikolas Cassadine. It’s hard when you get to know and love a character then they are replaced.

Tyler Christopher originated the role of Nikolas Cassadine in 1996. Since then fans have grown to love him. Christopher will return to GH in September but it is unclear if he will return to work then or if that will be his air date. With his returning could it mean that Nikolas is alive?
