‘General Hospital’ News: Tom Parker Returns To ‘GH’ As Baxter Corbin – Missing Link To Hayden’s Mysterious Past

‘General Hospital’ spoilers are reporting that actor Tom Parker will return in the coming weeks on GH as  Baxter Corbin, the man from Hayden’s past she so frantically tried to silence and chase off with her new Cassadine money in a Vegas hotel right after marrying Nikolas.

When Tracy called Hayden, “Rachel,” for the first time in the swanky Metro Court bar, Rebecca Budig registered a look of panic like I hadn’t seen on soap in a long time. Since she came on the show, Budig has vacillated between untrustworthy and trustworthy, dishonest and open, guarded and vulnerable.

And now we’re starting to find out why. Hayden has dropped many intentionally ambiguous hints about her past over the last few months, as she’s tried to uncover Nikolas’ involvement in her shooting and at the same time let herself fall in love with hin. She had been divorced. She had had experience working at a large and/or famous Wall Street bank; something happened that would make her go from working at a big bank to stooping to accepting money for conning Jason, so Ric Lansing could have Elizabeth to himself.

Who is this Rachel? Is she a sweet, loving, woman, looking for her prince—her Prince Nikolas, in this case? Or is she the two-bit, often-aroused, grifter who breaks Ming vases without a thought, which is how we first saw her. Until a bullet entered her skull and she entered a coma, and then writers began to show us different aspects to her.

What does Baxter have to reveal about Hayden, who looks ever more in over her head as the episodes go by. Her always big, beautiful eyes look enormous and panicked now. Will Baxter reveal what Tracy has hinted at revealing—some sort of scandal Hayden got mixed up in in Beecher’s Corners or some other town, one that she needed to distance herself from? Or will it be something altogether? Something more sinister? Something painful for Hayden/Rachel?  Stay tuned to GH to find out!
