‘General Hospital’ star Teresa Castillo’s baby boy Sebastian James is a star! Teresa’s ‘GH’ character Sabrina Santiago recently gave birth to a baby boy while on the run with Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise). She mailed a photo of the healthy baby boy back to Port Charles to her pal Felix – who shared it with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

Little did ‘General Hospital‘ fans know – that adorable baby boy in the photo on this week’s show was actually Sabrina Santiago’s real life son. Teresa took to Instagram today and shared a photo of Sebastian’s scene on the soap opera and captioned it, “My precious little Sebastian James made his General Hospital debut as Sabrina’s baby.”
Teresa Castillo is currently out on maternity leave, and in January 2016 she gave birth to Sebastian James, her second child, making the official announcement of his birth on Instagram. She also has a daughter named Victoria, who will turn two years old in May.

Seeing as how Teresa Castillo’s son’s birth matched up perfectly with her character Sabrina’s pregnancy – it seems fitting that the adorable newborn would play the part of Teresa’s baby on the ABC soap opera. This actually isn’t the first time a ‘GH’ mom has brought her baby to work…to work. Lisa LoCicero’s daughter Verity subbed in for baby Leo in the past as well.
Soap Opera Spy would like to officially welcome baby Sebastian to the ‘General Hospital’ cast – we can’t wait to see more of the adorable newborn!

love that the ladies of GH can bring their own children to be on the soap whenever they “fit” into the role being played. This would be good employee-employer relations IMO. Kudos to GH for getting it right.!!!!! ( this could apply to the men with their children, if that is needed for the role)
