‘General Hospital’ News: Steve Burton And Maurice Benard Reunite For Steve’s Birthday – Check Out The Pics!

‘General Hospital’ fans desperately miss Steve Burton as Jason Morgan on the ABC soap opera.  Billy Miller is doing a great job with the character, but that doesn’t mean we have forgotten about Steve Burton!  Steve Burton and Sonny Corinthos had an amazing bromance on and off the screen – Steve has even praised Maurice in interviews for helping mold him in to the actor that he is today.

Steve Burton may be a member of ‘The Young and the Restless’ cast now, but that didn’t stop ‘GH‘ fans from flooding his social media accounts with “Happy Birthday” messages this week.  On Tuesday June 28, the soap star and fan favorite celebrated his 46th birthday.  And, they weren’t the only ones – Maurice Benard took his old pal Steve Burton out for dinner to celebrate his big day!

Both Maurice and Steve Burton took to Instagram to share photos of their birthday reunion, it’s so great to see that they are still friends!  In the caption of his Instagram post, Steve even referred to Maurice Benard as his “brother.”  Burton captioned the photo, “This guy took me out for my birthday.. How could I refuse. Thanks brother.”
