There seems to be some major disagreements brewing on social media and message boards between GH fans as to who exactly Skipper Edgar is. Is he a minor character that will roll in to town and blow the Morgan Corinthos murder investigation wide open? Or is Skipper Edgar simply just a skipper working at the docks or on a boat, with one or two lines in passing?

For argument’s sake, it is worth noting that Stephen Jared has a pretty lengthy list of credits on IMDB and he has been working steadily since the late 1990’s, so it would be a little frivolous to waste the actor on a minor character that gets a total of 30 seconds of screen time. But, if Stephen Jared’s casting is a big deal, wouldn’t TPTB at General Hospital have shared the news by now?
