‘General Hospital’ News: Shari Belafonte Returns As Mayor Lomax Following Alexis’ Arrest

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers have announced Shari Belafonte will return to Port Charles on June 23, 2016. Belafonte plays Mayor Janice Lomax, one of the most hated Mayors in GH history.

Most recently, Mayor Lomax, was facing Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) in the courtroom regarding the case involving Olivia breastfeeding her son in the Metro Court dining room during a meeting with the Mayor.

The epic court case defeat left Mayor Lomax even more heated than normal, and she is looking for revenge.  It looks like Alexis being arrested may be her opportunity to seek that revenge. Sources state, Belafonte scenes will surround Alexis being arrested. It is a fair assessment that the mayor will not be standing in line to help out her nemesis anytime soon if anything she will likely make it worse.

Mayor Lomax always seems to jump in and out of arrest scenes over the last year. The last appearance was in April.
