‘General Hospital’ News: Rumors William DeVry Leaving GH NOT True – Julian Staying In Port Charles

“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers confirm that fans of William DeVry can stop panicking. He is not going anywhere, sit back, relax and continue to enjoy your daily dosage of everything exciting, secretive and sinister that is happening in our favorite town of Port Charles!

General Hospital fans know that William deVry’s character, Julian Jerome is about to stand trial for murder; although there should be a lot more charges that have gone unnoticed or ignored by the Port Charles Police Department (PCPD). He is to stand trial for the murder of his family’s “right-hand man”, Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise), but not for attempting to kill his own wife, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn)?

Don’t be too worried, Julian’s sister, Ava Jerome (Maura West) has things under control, well at least she has D.A. Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) under control with everything she is blackmailing him with. Who doesn’t look forward to seeing Julian roaming free; although you have to admit, he has a lot of fences to mend before he can call himself truly “free!”

GH viewers and especially fans of William DeVry have become quite worried recently. With the actor working on a new series, and the character he portrays potentially looking at “life in prison”, wouldn’t you be? The powers that be, on other shows and soap operas, have been able to keep some pretty scandalous secrets lately, so no, it wouldn’t be that far-fetched to fear the worst!

Soaps In Depth was able to interview the actor, to find out what is really going on, and if the Crime Boss is leaving, or not. Did you know that this isn’t the first role William DeVry played in Port Charles? His very first daytime soap role was in 2002 on the series Port Charles, where he portrayed Tim Dolan.

Although he admits to having gone through this before, with other soap opera characters he portrayed like Michael Cambias on “All My Children” in 2004 and Storm Logan on “The Bold and the Beautiful” in 2006, William reassures those who adore him, that he is not going anywhere.
