‘General Hospital’ News: Molly Burnett Starring In New Movie ‘Shattered’ With Ariane Zucker And Ray Wise

Current ‘General Hospital’ star Molly Burnett [Maxie Jones] has landed her next gig. According to the actress she has landed a role in the upcoming movie ‘Shattered’. “Doin a little ADR today for the movie “Shattered” – So excited for you guys to see, this is a really special one,” Burnett shared on Instagram with an image displaying a scene she is a part of from the upcoming drama.

The film, which is currently in post production stages, is expected to be released in 2017. ‘Shattered’ was written by Nicholas Celozzi and Paul Leach and directed by Natasha Kermani. The long list of cast members does not only include Burnett but some other current and former daytime stars.

Burnett’s former ‘Days of our Lives’ co-star Arianne Zucker [Nicole Walker] is a part of the upcoming film where she plays the role of Maureen. ‘The Young and the Restless’ alum Ray Wise also stars in the film as Forest Burnett. Apart from these daytime stars Adam Huss, Karyme Lozano, Ron Rogge, Jonathan Camp, Alfonso Freeman, LaRita Shelby, D’Kia Anderson, Tom Malloy, Eileen Dietz, Tate Birchmore, Austin Saunders, Jaime Aymerich and more is also a part of the cast.

‘Shattered’ is described on IMDB as being “a story based on true events about family betrayal, love, lost and a dark destructive secret that swirls around a high powered political family in Deep South,” the full summary of the upcoming film can be found on the IMDB website. Burnett plays the role of Kate which seems to be the lead character. Though she currently plays the role of Maxie Jones on a temporary basis, she is most known for her role as Melanie Jonas on ‘Days of Our Lives’ a role she played on and off until earlier this year.
