‘General Hospital’ News: Michael Easton’s New ‘GH’ Character’s Identity Finally Revealed – Details Here!

‘General Hospital’ spoilers recently revealed that Michael Easton was returning to the ABC soap opera in an all new role, after his former character Silas Clay was killed off last year.  Easton revealed on Facebook last week that his first ‘GH’ air date in 2016 will be on March 18 – and now we the name of his new character!

According to ‘General Hospital’ spoilers from Soaps.com, Easton may be playing the part of Marcus Byrne – a newcomer in Port Charles.  Soaps.com goes on to tease that Marcus Byrne is ‘intelligent, reserved and hellbent on revenge.”  This is definitely a huge change of pace compared to the generous and kind-hearted Silas Clay that Easton was formerly playing before he was murdered in cold blood.

Rumors were floating around since the announcement of Easton’s return that he might be playing the part of a Cassadine heir – but that looks like it won’t be the case.  It will definitely be interesting to see who Marcus comes to Port Charles to see on his quest for revenge.  There certainly is not a shortage of criminals in PC, it is really anyone’s guess who may have wronged Easton’s new character.  Rumors that Easton may have a bone to pick with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) are definitely starting to seem possible.
