‘General Hospital’ News: Maurice Benard’s Movie “The Ghost and the Whale” Available At Amazon

‘General Hospital’ actor Maurice Benard [Sonny Corinthos] is reporting that the film he was a part of is now available on Amazon. Benard took to Twitter to share “The Ghost and The Whale is available now. Remember to leave your review after watching”. Fans that love haunted shows and are looking for a good time can check out the new film starring Benard.

Similar to his GH character Benard plays the role of Joseph, a man who suffers from bipolar disorder. In the film, Joseph went out to sea travelling with his beautiful woman, the love of his life Annabel Lee but returned alone to tell the tale of how the whale killed Annabel. But it doesn’t stop there, the mystery deepens further on and more persons get involved.

Also starring in the movie are; Monica Keena, Jonathan Pryce, James Gaudioso and Jonathan Pryce. It is executive produced by Benard’s wife Paula and Benard is requesting that fans leave a comment on the movie after they’ve viewed it, “Remember to leave your review after watching,” he tweeted. Back in the days of filming this movie Benard shared how he happy he was to be doing something outside of his regular soap role.

While speaking with Soaps in Depth he shared “We all know it’s tough, especially when you’ve been on a soap for as long as I have”. He further added “In terms of trying to break out, nobody really cares about soaps. Within the soap world, it’s the greatest job in the world. But for me, it will be tough unless somebody gives me that break. I believe that this film is that break.”
