‘General Hospital’ News: Maurice Benard Movie Release – Where Can You Watch ‘The Ghost And The Whale?’

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers have announced the wait to see fan favorite Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in a whole new way is over!  According to Soaps In Depth, the new movie Benard’s spent months filming, has been released.

The Ghost and the Whale is an emotional drama featuring Maurice Benard as Joseph Hawthorne, a bipolar man who is accused of murdering his wife. Of all the roles Benard has taken over the years, he is particularly proud of this one, partly because it was a family affair; his wife Paula Benard co-produced the film.

Soaps In Depth writes, “If it wasn’t for Paula, this film would not have been made,” Benard declares. “I’m sure of it. I couldn’t be more proud of her. The entire cast and crew worked very hard and should all be proud.”

The film is available today on many platforms; including, iTunes for purchase for $12.99 and Amazon for purchase ranging from $9.99 – $12.99 and for rent for $4.99-$5.99 depending on HD quality.  From the looks of the trailer, this role promises to show a new, vulnerable side to Port Charles’s mob boss.
