‘General Hospital’ News: Marc Anthony Samuel Dishes On New Movie ‘Rumor From Ground Control’

Great news Felix fans! Marc Anthony Samuel, who plays the role of Felix DuBois on ‘General Hospital,’ will appear in the movie ‘Rumor from Ground Control’ as Nevin Vance. Although an official release date has not been announced, it is speculated that the movie could be released this year.
Speaking directly with Marc about his role in the movie, he stated “I played the son of an astronaut who is trying to expose a secret that the government has been keeping about his father’s death. As I get closer to the answer, (aided by the help of a journalist,) our lives are put in greater peril.”
Although he is currently on recurring on GH, the actor continues to book fantastic new roles outside of the ABC sudser. Samuel further enlightened Soap Opera Spy that the movie, which is directed by Seaton Lin, is still in post production stages.
The synopsis for ‘Rumor From Ground Control’ teases: “A female investigative journalist stumbles upon a CIA cover-up of a failed space mission.” Other cast members for the thriller include: Peter Gardner, Megan Le, Mary Manofsky, Arthur McGuire, Gregory Steinbrecher, Kyle Colerider-Krugh, Amy Goddard, Lexington Moeller, Chase McGuire, Dylan Thiffault, Charley Rossman, Naka Secrest, Michael Rupnow, Michael B. Silver, Matthew Tully Brown and Mike Mizwicki.

You catch Samuel on General Hospital, weekdays on ABC. His character is currently teaming up with Michael (Chad Duell) to find Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) and the baby. Being that Felix is Sabrina’s best friend, it would be good to see the two reunite after so long.
