‘General Hospital’ News: Lynn Herring Teases Lucy Coe Will Be Sticking Around After Nurses Ball

‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers tease we will be seeing more of Lynn Herring, the beauty that plays Port Charles’s one and only Lucy Coe. According to Soap Opera Digest, Herring will not only be back for the Nurse’s Ball but may be sticking around a little longer.

It has been nearly a year since Herring has been on General Hospital. Last she was in the area, she hosted the Nurse’s Ball as usual, oddly gifted some ELQ stock to Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) and then just left town. This chain of events didn’t sit well with Herring as she eloquently noted the odd fit amongst the story line in Soap Opera Digest, “I’m not sure how to play this. I’m not sure what they want from me, and I don’t know how I’m helping this story.”

Luckily, after a conversation with executive producer Frank Valentini, her concerns have been addressed. It appears Lucy’s return to Port Charles will be on May 17, 2016. This timing will allow viewers to become reacquainted with the character before her epic introductions at the Nurse’s Ball. In addition, she is certain to participate in scenes that add to existing storylines rather than awkwardly appear and disappear as she has in the past.

It seems most likely that Lucy will cross paths with Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom). Currently the two characters are working together to find clues regarding the mysterious puzzle Helena (Constance Towers) left Laura in her will.

It seemed to some fans that there was a love connection brewing between the Laura and Kevin. If there is in fact a spark, Lucy will definitely sniff it out. After all, Laura and Lucy are long time… frenemies… and Kevin is her ex-husband. The addition of Herring to the storyline, even if for just a short time, will certainly add humor and dimension.
