‘General Hospital’ News: Kristen Alderson Has A New Job, Details Here!

Kristen Alderson is making a big transition in her life, and has started a new career. For the past 15 years, General Hospital and One Life to Live fans have learned to love her as Starr Manning. Kristen Alderson began the role as Starr Manning when she was six years old. Kristen auditioned for the role on One Life to Live in February of 1998 and portrayed the character starting on March 20, 1998. Kristen was later put on contract with the series in April of 2001.
On January 11, 2012, it was announced that Alderson would reprise her One Life to Live role on ABC’s sole remaining soap opera General Hospital. Kristen debuted on General Hospital starting on February 24, 2012 and left the show on March 20th of the following year. Kristen Alderson was then brought back and returned to General Hospital as Kiki Jerome. In 2013, she received a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series for her work as Starr Manning on General Hospital in 2012.
On January 10, 2015, Soap Opera Digest reported that Alderson decided to exit her role on General Hospital and that she was opting to not renew her contract with the series. Her role of Kiki Jerome was recast immediately by actress, Hayley Erin.

According to Kristen Alderson’s Twitter account as of October 3rd, 2016, she posted a message to her fans stating excitedly “Passed the first class Class #2, here we go!” She also posted a picture on twitter showing an image of her book. Kristen Alderson made the announcement that she is transitioning from acting into real estate. Many previous actors and actress’ responded to Kristen on Twitter sharing their support for her new career move including her friend, Chrishell Stause .(Bethany, Young and the Restless; ex-Jordan, Days of our Lives, Amanda, All My Children)
