‘General Hospital’ News: Kirsten Storms And Brandon Barash Divorce – Real Life ‘GH’ Couple Break-Up

Here’s a shocker – General Hospital’s Kirsten Storms and Brandon Barash have decided to get a divorce. The two  played co-stars for many years before tying the knot back in June, 2013.  Kirsten currently plays the part of Maxie Jones, and Brandon is know for his role as Johnny Zacchara.

 “We are splitting due to the cliché irreconcilable differences, but we’re splitting amicably,” Barash shares according to Soap Opera Digest. In the discussion Barash emphasized that though they have decided to go their separate ways their daughter Harper, who is now 2 years old, is their first priority.

Storms and Barash are adamant that they intend to keep their co-parenting skills very successful. They want to remain a family in spite of what they’ve been through that lead to this difficult decision. We all know that relationships are hard, it gets rough sometimes and this seems to be the case for this young and wonderful couple. According to SOD the couple shared that they did not just decide to get divorced due to their problems but they sought professional assistance first.

Barash stated “This was not a hasty decision; a lot of thought and therapy went into this.” So therefore these two seem to have tried every means possible to work things out, however their methods proved unsuccessful. Kirsten Storms in the discussion highlighted the fact that they went to therapy sessions for an extended period. They tried everything to figure out a way to work things out. According to them there is no dislike between them but the end result is they believe raising their young daughter in separate homes would be best.

In conclusion, Storms again emphasized that there is no bad blood between the two of them their decision was mutual and they are doing what they think is best for themselves and Harper. So what do you think of this GH fans?
