‘General Hospital’ News: Kathleen Gati Filming New Movie – Details Here!

‘General Hospital’ actress Kathleen Gati [Dr. Liesl Obrecht] has booked a role in a new film called ‘Christmas In The Red.’ According to the actress she had the most exciting time shooting the new film. “Had a wonderful time filming w/ @livingstonactor #ChristmasInTheRed directed by the FAB #MikeFeifer @hallmarkchannel” she tweeted.
The cast apparently just wrapped up filming the movie, which Gati is a part of. No official release date has been announced yet, but given the title it should be released on the Hallmark Channel around Christmas time. Also no information has been release to confirm what role Gati plays in the movie but she worked alongside American actress Julie Brown and actor Barry Livingston.

Other stars have been tweeting pictures from the set indicating that they are a part of the film. Stars like Luke Judy and Susan Attiyah tweeted photographs from the set. Responses to the tweets from Gai, Judy and Attiyah indicates how anxious the fans are to see this new film.
Feiffer, who is listed as the film’s director, is well known to viewers. He has directed and produced several other movies including A Christmas Proposal, Last Call, The Dog Who Save the Holidays, Stolen Child, A Christmas Wedding Tail, Unstable, Gabe the Cupid Dog, Are You Scared, A Valentine’s Date, and so much more.

Gati continues to play the recurring role of Dr. Liesl Obrecht, a role she began playing on August 24, 2012. Obrecht was recently demoted from the position of Chief of Staff at General Hospital and is now a regular nurse.
